i'm not really patient

i am patient
of your unspoken observation
and readiness to be weak.

like dried leaves in fall
waiting for a breeze.

like tall blades of grass
in spring,
enjoying morning's dew.

i am patiently awaited
by my heart's faint pulse,
for your wall's short release.

like a landed snowflake
rejoycing its last moments
before melting.

like skin's sweat in a hot gust,
revealing a drought.

i am patient
with bated breath,
waiting for the wind's sigh.

i am impatiently patient.
